Indianapolis (WISH)-An adult entertainment retailer on the northwest side offered a $10,000 reward to obtain information about the driver who crashed the car into its store.
At about 9:30 on Sunday morning, a white four-door sedan rammed the entrance of the lion den after idling in the parking lot for about 15 seconds. The store is located at 4405 Georgetown Road between Lafayette Road and the I-65 overpass.
After the car rushed out of the entrance, it reversed and left the area.
The store said in a press release issued on Tuesday that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is seeking information about the incident. “It is unclear whether this incident was accidental or deliberate. This is why we are offering a reward for more information,” the press release said.
“We understand that accidents may occur; however, we want to learn more and understand the intent behind the incident to ensure that for the safety of our employees and customers, such incidents will not happen again,” Nick Bettress, Regional Director of Lion’s Den in the news Said in the draft.
No one was injured in the accident, but the store remained closed on Tuesday. The cost of the damage is not in the release, but the store representative described it as “primary”.
