The Wall Township School Board appointed a new sports director for the high school because the community will continue to deal with the impact of the football team bullying scandal.
The board voted to hire Nick Pizzuli as interim sports director for the rest of the year. Six years ago, after experiencing bullying, Pizzulli was taken to Sayreville War Memorial High School to hold a similar position. Obviously, he will be paid $600 a day.
During the investigation, the former sports director, football head coach and others are taking paid leave.
New documents obtained News 12 Shows that the student was suspended last month for “bullying and misbehaving”.
