Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, said on Sunday that Instagram will take new measures to keep teenagers away from harmful content and encourage them to “take a break” from the platform. Less than a week after Craig made the above remarks on CNN’s State of the Union address, whistleblower Francis Haogen testified before Congress on internal research that Instagram may have a negative impact on the mental health of young people.
“We will launch something that I think will be quite different. Our system can see teenagers viewing the same content over and over again, and this content may not be conducive to their happiness. We will encourage them to look at other things. ..
