NATICK (CBS) — The Natick Public School stated that the fire that broke out during the end of school on Friday was a deliberate arson by a student. The fire broke out in the boys’ locker room and was quickly extinguished.
The building was evacuated, and Natick firefighters responded.

About 50 students and faculty members were in the building at that time.

“We are investigating the truth of this incident-a fire deliberately set on fire by members of our student body, putting everyone in danger. The police are conducting a full investigation of possible criminal charges,” said Superintendent Anna Nolin. The statement said.
“We are angry and disappointed. We are a strong and vibrant community that cares about each other. After two years of long isolation, we are determined to restore our culture of unity, safety and respect. Such behavior will not be tolerated. We The arson students will be held accountable for all.”
