“We have a body in our suitcase…it looks like it’s been cut open,” was the disturbing revelation of a 911 call Saturday after a body was found in a shack on Reifert Street in South Hills detail.
Multiple police units were called to the scene and can be seen going in and out of the shed to collect and process evidence.
Detectives surrounded the house with tape and officers, trying to understand what happened.
The victim was identified as Crystal Leshner, 38, of Pittsburgh.
Details about how long she may have been in the shed have not been released.
The shocking discovery has upset neighbors as they themselves wait to find out what happened.
“I was listening to the police scanner…I was really a little surprised,” Ronnie Davis said.

Davis, who has lived nearby for about six months, said it was a generally quiet neighborhood.
“I don’t know how I feel right now,” Davis said. “My mood is very complicated. I don’t know if I can sleep tonight.”
The discovery comes a week after the stabbing at the same home.
Police said the stabbing occurred after an altercation between the two.
However, if the two are connected, there is nothing to say.
The cause and manner of death are still up in the air.
