Hollywood (CBS Miami)-A week after 16-year-old Christopher Walls crashed after being chased by the police, family and friends laid flowers and candles for their loved ones.
“We want to show him that we care about him. He is a good person. He has never been a bad person,” said his friend Destiny Werby.

According to the Miami-Dade police, it was reported that Walls hijacked a driver in Broward County and led the police to chase and enter Miami-Dade.
Walls then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the fence of Northwest 27th Avenue and 62nd Street.
According to the police, the 16-year-old was subsequently detained by Hollywood police, but soon became unconscious.
He was subsequently pronounced dead at Hialeah Hospital.

“He may still be here. It doesn’t matter, they don’t need to do those extra things to him at all. What’s sad is how they treat him,” Destiny said.
However, Walls’ friends and family told CBS4 News that the teenager was violently arrested.
The person involved in the case has been on administrative leave and is awaiting investigation.
The teenager’s family wanted justice.

“You never know when your loved one will leave. It’s very shocking, because Chris is among all the people, I just never thought anything would happen to him,” Walls’ family said.
