A few hours before the end of the year, Telegram Messenger announced its 12th and final update last year, which included replies, the ability to add hidden text, automatic translation of messages, and QR codes for design configurations.
Reactions are quick responses to messages in the form of interactive or animated emojis, they are always activated in private chats, and the availability is configured by the administrator for groups and channels:
Not only can you allow the reaction yourself, but you can also set which emoji of the function is responsible. You can limit yourself to traditional “likes” or organize voting.
You can change the default reaction to another emoji in “Settings”. Android: Chat Settings>Quick Response. iOS: Stickers and emojis>Quick response.
Administrators can control the response from their channel or group information page> Edit> Response. For more feedback options, please try channel feedback and our powerful survey.
If necessary, Messenger users have the opportunity to deal with hidden text, for example by explaining movies or TV shows, without having to digest the details of stage design.
An important innovation is the message translation function. To activate this function, you must first activate it in the “Language” menu item of the “Configuration” menu.
To translate a message, you just need to touch it (or pinch it with your finger on iOS).
These settings allow you to specify languages that do not require translation.
This feature is applicable to every Android version and iOS 15+.
For all users who have set up a public link to their personal data; now you can directly generate a QR code in the app; this function can also be used for groups, channels and robots.
A QR code symbol will appear next to the public link, which can generate not only the code itself, but also its design (required colors and patterns). Results, print or share in another application.
In addition, the right-click menu of the Telegram client for macOS has new options: navigation has been improved, and animation symbols are displayed for each element. Finally, some emojis are also interactive versions.
