The police said the man seen in the surveillance video followed the 45-year-old victim on the northbound train No. 4, then grabbed him and pushed him onto the rails.
The victim fractured his ribs and spine.
It happened at 4:55 AM on Saturday
The attacker was described as a light-skinned man with a beard, brown eyes and long black hair. Before his disappearance, he was wearing a black sweatshirt with a yellow logo on the front, black sweatpants and a blue surgical mask.
Only two days later, another suspect pushed a man onto the tracks at the same station.
The incident occurred at 8:50 AM on Monday, December 12
The victim fractured his left arm and wrist, injured his left knee, and bruised his right knee.
He was taken to the Methodist Hospital by EMS and was in stable condition.
The attacker fled in an unknown direction on the northbound Q train.
