Pittsburgh (KDKA)-Police are investigating after a young child was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
According to the police, they were called to Allegheny General Hospital and reported that a young man with gunshot wounds came to the emergency room in a private car.
The toddler was then taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in a critical condition but has been upgraded to stable.
Detectives from the Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Department are investigating where the toddler was shot.
Neighbors near Allentown East Warrington Avenue and Belts Hoover Avenue said that the police were in the area shortly after the child went to the hospital.
Other neighbors on Sheraden Zephyr Avenue said that just after 4pm, the police were looking for someone in their area
